What's your name?
What area are you running in?
What is one thing you would do to encourage more young adults to live in Greater Sudbury?
Education: Not just in schools but what our city can offer.
How would you address homelessness and addictions in Greater Sudbury?
More frequent transit service, perhaps with smaller buses, to outlying areas.
If you were to create your own public art policy for Greater Sudbury, what are three things you would include?
The first thing l would do is start in the schools at the grade one. Take them to the art gallery in the town they live in. Second, talk about the museums we have in the city, and show them where they are. Three, have the city support our local artists and give them space to display their works.
There’s been no major private sector investment in the downtown core for years. Why do you think that is and how would you change it?
Sudbury has nothing to sustain big business, particularly in the downtown. We hate change, not just Sudbury but all of Canada. We have to open up to change.
If given the chance, would you renegotiate the ward system in Greater Sudbury? Elaborate why.
Yes, I would like to see changes. Some of the boundaries don't make much sense.
Greater Sudbury’s environment is a work in progress. What would you do to keep our water clean, our trees healthy, and air fresh?
The environment is most important thing to me. I travel all over are city 12 hrs a day. What l see makes me sick. As l keep saying, education; putting in place programs to clean up our city. Small steps at a time. Strong laws to prevent people from dumping their waste in random places. Take more care with development to prevent the destruction of green spaces and watersheds.
What would you do to foster a healthy business sector throughout Greater Sudbury?
Make an effort to promote our city better at events in other places.
