How would you address homelessness and addictions in Greater Sudbury?

Work on a plan to promote needle/paraphernalia clean up, support safe injection sites

If you could start over with roads in Greater Sudbury, how would you develop the transportation network to improve quality of life?

Better quality asphalt, more cycling lanes, more sidewalks

More promotion of current events, creation of events centres, municipal funds dedicated to the arts

There’s been no major private sector investment in the downtown core for years. Why do you think that is and how would you change it?

There is too much red tape stopping businesses from locating down there, along with the parking concerns. The parking will become easier with the electronic meters and a review of the policy and procedures of applications is needed.

If given the chance, would you renegotiate the ward system in Greater Sudbury? Elaborate why.

Yes, I feel we should go to at least a 6 ward systems, with more constituents. Larger wards would allow for full-time Councillors which would appeal to more individuals getting involved.

Greater Sudbury’s environment is a work in progress. What would you do to keep our water clean, our trees healthy, and air fresh?

A review of our waterworks plan is needed, to save the quality of the lakes we draw on. The AIR project from Vale will help in creating better air quality, as well as reviewing the transportation plan and ensuring there are more routes with flexibility of use to promote less car pollution. The same would go with including cycling lanes in road construction projects.

What would you do to foster a healthy business sector throughout Greater Sudbury?

Work to have the application processed reviewed.
